Check these before you install BeePanel.
Server
- A 64-bit x86 (amd64) Linux server with systemd.
- Root access to that server, to run the installer.
- Ideally the server your PBX runs on. A separate server works too; see Installing on a server separate from the PBX.
- The standard user, group, and service tools:
getent, groupadd, groupdel, useradd, userdel, usermod, andsystemctl. The installer stops and names any that is missing. curlandsha256sum, which the install command uses to download and verify BeePanel.
BeePanel changes no SELinux setting and opens no firewall port.
PBX
- Asterisk 12 or newer: FreePBX, Issabel, or another Asterisk-based system. PBX systems not based on Asterisk are not supported.
- The Asterisk Manager Interface (AMI) enabled. On the PBX server the installer prepares BeePanel's AMI user; see AMI connection.
- PJSIP or chan_sip extensions. BeePanel checks what your Asterisk supports when it connects, and marks anything unavailable.
Call history and queue statistics
These need the Pro edition.
- Call history: CEL enabled in Asterisk and written to MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite, with a database account that can read the CEL table. See Call history source.
- Queue statistics: the Asterisk queue log as a file or as a table in the CEL database. See Queue log.
- Recordings: a directory of call recordings that BeePanel can read on the server it runs on.
Network
- Internet access from the BeePanel server to download BeePanel, start the trial, and activate a license. Once activated, BeePanel keeps working without it.
- Browser access to the BeePanel server, by default on port 18080.
See Network and ports for every connection.
